TERRIBLE MOVIE!!

There's good reason that it took 4 years for this movie to hit the three theaters it landed up in...this movie SUCKS! No plot, no point. Can't say enough about how horrible this is.

I only saw it b/c a friend wanted to see it on her birthday. I could tell from the previews that it would be terrible and boy did it more than live up to my expectations.

I'll bet Zoe Saldana was hoping this little flick never saw the light of day. My friend even asked how she went from Avatar to this???? Because it was made BEFORE Avatar. Just a horribly bad movie; utter waste of film.

LMBO!! U are so right this movie is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I could not make it through the movie. my friend and I finally just cut the movie off after we discovered that there was no hope of this movie getting any better. It was a major disappointment.

I agree. This movie is all over the place. At least I only wasted a dollar and some change at redbox. But wow...what a waste of film.

I agree 100%... This movie was ABSOLUTE garbage... I am still confused about the point...

I enjoyed it on Showtime, just because of the good actors. The point was to teach the young arrogant stud doctor, to become a communist liberal. The mentor wanted him to help the poor and teach him about life. I think because he couldn't really enjoy a full life and relationship.

It kept me entertained throughout. 6/10

omg..no plot, very boring - even Marla Gibbs acting sucked in this.

I checked this dvd out for free at the library because I'm a fan of Brian White.

I'm supposed to believe that "dr Z" dude is a dr?? He looked so grubby!

Just saw 20 minutes of this and stopped. My wife and I both agreed that nothing could save this film so why continue the torture of watching. I understood the plot but the way they went about it was brutal. The transitions between scenes were horrible. It seemed to jump from one scene to another without any connection. The stand-up was simply bad. Wood Harris was not the best actor to be cast in his part. I saw nothing positive out of this film to keep my interest. I love Zoe Saldana, but this will be just a tiny bump on her career. I feel for those who went to see it and had to sit there and suffer. I'm glad it was on Showtime so I simply just changed the channel.

At first, i thought it was horrible. Which, in many ways, it is. Wood Harris for sure saved this movie and was the only reason I continued watching. He has great charm on screen. Shame he doesn't get more acting roles in bigger Hollywood movies. He is "Avon Barksdale", the star of a cult classic TV show. I just hate seeing T.I and Common who both, are just horrible, popping up in movies and good actors like Wood being stuck with crappy stuff like this.
