I thought it was an awesome movie, loved it.... Ending is a bit Hollywood Happy Ending'ish, but still....

Also, what happened with the CIA squad? Did the boys contact CIA to save them? At the end it sounded like "the plan was to help you guys".... can someone explain?

I don't get it either.. the movie IS awesome!! It was hilarious and really pulls you in and holds your interest all the way thru. I thought the ending was good.. it was a bit of the Hollywood Happy Ending but if they had just grabbed him and handed him over it would have been kind of a wimpy ending.

Richard Gere was at his best in this movie!!!!

Real love is FOREVER!!!!

Yep, I thought this movie was going to suck but instead it sucked me right in. Thanks Netflix or I never would have had a chance to see this gem. I love the fact it was mostly filmed in that disturbed land. Gave the economy a shot in the arm while bringing us the lovely landscapes of the former Yugoslavia. I just hope everyone there is getting along now. It was terrible stuff in the 90s.

I do notice though, that opinions are quite polarized over this film.

Agreed ... I put off watching it for quite a while, but quite enjoyed it once I finally got around to it.
