INDY vs. Non-Indy

I must say, if you are looking for a BIG BUDGETED MOVIE STAR BLOCKBUSTER, then this movie IS NOT FOR YOU! If you're looking for a smart indy, then you'll dig this flick. I read an article online that the filmakers sold their home in order to make this movie. This film is undoubtedly funny, with sharp dialogue. The actors are all cast perfectly, and there are some great one liners. This movie was clearly shot on digital, but these guys did the best with what they had to work with. You can't compare this movie with King Kong or Spiderman, if you do you'll be disappointed. This is a cute indy comedy, and definitely worth renting........

Having made an Indie, I can really appreciate your comments. There is something freer about an Indie. I know all about doing the best you can with what you have. The presentation might not be as slick but the essence of the film can still be brilliant. I am watching Outside Sales in a couple of hours. I will let you know what I think. I have often found that a comedy, at first viewing, doesn't always click. I still cannot believe that I did not care too much for, "Waiting for Guffman," when I first saw it. After watching it several times, it is now one of my favorite comedies of all time.
