Yeah, Wiki says 2006, IMDb says 2009.
And if you get the DVD of this film, the credits show the date: 2005.
I suspect this is a film that was done "on the cheap" back in 2005 and not released until recently.
But I'm pleased to learn that Amy Adams sang all the songs, herself. Did not use a professional singer to dub for her.

They probably yanked out of a vault somethere because Adams is becomming quite popular these days. I, personally, will skip this one!

Skipping it's the way to go. It was definitely a clunker not worth your time. I mean the signing was decent, but the script was just atrocious.
