At the end of the film, does Nicolas get away, or does he be detained in Israel?

I think he gets away! And I dont think the flight flew to Israel, cause if you remember Amin only released non-Israelis! So it would be stupid to fly them to Israel!
I believe the pilot said they were going to Paris or something.

Basic point, I think that Gerrigan got away safely to Scotland. he probably was on TV and wrote books, I imagine!
