'Never Say Never Again'

Sean Connery said after Diamonds Are Forever that he would "never again" play James Bond 007. And then in 1983 he reprised the role for Never Say Never Again. And didn't after that he say James Bond was again behind him? And yet here Sean is again, over 20 years later, this time providing his voice for the British Secret Agent in a Bond video game.

If you think about living people using symbols,such as james bond, to relate to the world, the reality is, that symbols use us, not the other way around. We die, Symbols last forever. So to answer your question, James Bond is using Sean Connery once again.
