He's useless, such a waste of a movie; all these people assembled & time, money spent to film... It's a (fairly :)) interesting picture, I'm drawn to it by Jeff Bridges, Anderson, Megan Fox... Thandie Newton is in it.
Everyone fits (fairly) well and they've got great performances, but every time Too-Plain Simon is on the screen - I'm compelled to find something else to watch, even though I don't want to end the experience... However, he's unbearable.
Hot Fuzz was his one-hit-wonder & he would be ok for various supporting roles (such as Star Trek), yet he keeps appearing - like a bad dream (because it's unbelievable to see him in lead roles; it's a nightmare, actually). Just give it a rest, certainly there are people we're missing out on - who could've made the movies he filmed really cool... Meh.
Once i get my hooks into a girl, she never gets free.
I've got cock on my hand.
yeah, i never understood why he's considered lead actor material...i just find him really bland. not a terrible actor but there's nothing there that can hold your attention for more than 5min.
shareWell, it's all really just a matter of opinion... and to prove it, here's mine: Simon Pegg is great - he's funny, he can be real, he's convincing in his roles - I love all his movies and own them all on DVD. Not every movie needs a pretty-boy, matinee-idol Ken doll in it to be a good film.
