I see it as the hot/pretty arguement... Megan Fox fits into the 'Hot' catagory.. the ones who constantly appear in the media as sex attraction with perfect bodies, turning all the shallow guys who just want a trophy wife on... (unfortunatle what appears to be most of the population)
Kirstin Dunst fits in the pretty catagory... she isn't perfect, but that adds to her charm. Her character and personality make her more attractive to a guy who looks at attraction more literally than just for sex, and you look at her and thing... 'yes, I could probably enjoy a nice evening chatting with that woman...'
Hard to explain, but can you see the point? I first noticed this happen at the Royal Wedding. Kate Middleton, one of the most beautiful women in the world... exceptionally good looking, charismatic, and a true winner for a wife... her sister, hot and has a nice ass... Guess who had the massive following after the wedding...!

i adore dunst, think she's super talented but i don't particularly think she's all that pretty. she's attractive but not actually beautiful. and without makeup, she looks extremely plain.
megan fox is hot in a purely sexual way but imho she looks like a tranny...i don't think her face is all that beautiful either. and she has almost zero acting talent.
