Brilliant! Hopefully will get considered come Oscar time
Just as the first Garfield film was a brilliant social commentary expertly paralleling the lazy and vacant habit of homosapiens, the second film is a whimsical feat of hilarity, charm, emotion, and human values. It combines a dry wit, stirred with a bit of dark humor and topped off with exceptionally clever satiric value. I couldn't have asked for more. There were certain laughs for the children, sure, but the movie is so perfectly crafted and enjoyable that even the oldest of adults can bathe in all its charming, satirical glory. It's sad a critic these days can't tell the difference between The Godfather and The Fast and the Furious, because they really screwed up on this film just as they did with the first. Thank goodness we have Ebert...
...By the way, is there anyone on board who knows how to fly a plane?
