Ohmigod, this is one mess of a movie. Unethical psychiatrists, stupid mysteries, terrible acting. Do youself a favor and AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS! I kept flipping back and forth between it and an old CSI episode I'd seen about 10 times, that's how much it kept my attention.
I can't believe the writers made up a medication called "Penetrol"....sounds like a date rape drug.
I totally agree! The worst. It could be subtitled, "Psychiatrists behaving badly." Wish I had seen your post first and avoided it!
sharewell i liked this movie, if you honestly think this is the worst movie of all time you should check out boogeyman and green river killer, they're both by the same director... i hope to god he doesn't make any more movies but i truely liked this movie in all honesty.
shareYeah, this wasn't so bad. I was interested in the mystery and tried to figure out the clues. At one point or another, everybody was a suspect in my mind. Lifetime has turned out far worse movies than this one.

Why all the hate? I have an opinion; I loathed this movie. That makes me an idiot? Maybe you watch TOO MUCH Lifetime, or perhaps you had something to do with spawning this dreck.

shareThis was a great and enjoyable Lifetime movie! It was totally cheezy and over-the-top, which makes for a great flick. Look, I don't compare these TV movies with theatrical releases. I accept Lifetime movies for what they are and this is a good one.

Some Lifetime movies are excessively stupid or too depressing, agreed. But this one was decent. I will say the ending was not terribly original, but I did find myself wondering whodunit and I suspected almost everyone at once point too.
Kristy Swanson acts a bit better than usual in this film too, and she looked beautiful.

16 years later…never too late to educate. He gave her pills in a medication bottle however does not mean it was a prescription. However, they are not off the mark. Penetrol is a real thing. It is Lavender Oil. So not made up. In high doses it can also cause the side effects implied in the film, especially with mixed with alcohol.
Avoid alcohol while taking Lavender oil (Penetrol). Alcohol may increase drowsiness caused by Lavender oil (Penetrol).
“At higher doses, Lavender oil (Penetrol) may increase the effects of other drugs that cause drowsiness, including antidepressants, alcohol, antihistamines, sedatives (used to treat insomnia), pain relievers, anxiety medicines, seizure medicines, and muscle relaxants. Do not take Lavender oil (Penetrol) with other medications that may also cause drowsiness.”
Can also cause hallucinations and be used as a sedative. Remember how tired she was. Lack of sleep can lead to hallucinations and paranoia but so can too much sleep.
