I just watched this movie, and have one question. Was Dan the one drugged Alex with the "cranberry drink" or was the drink/cranberry juice mixed with poisoned by someone else (Sam)? Dan was controlling, but Sam did have a habit of drugging Alex.
Or was this just a part of the movie meant to keep us wondering?

To answer your question ten years later, Sam had given her a drink prior to Dan giving her yet another drink, that was when I was really getting suspicious, knowing Dan didn't do anything but be a jerk; Sam took her drink with him when he left and she only drank a sip from Dan's drink when he says "goodbye" and all. So it was Sam who poisoned her with the first drink.
