USE the bow and arrow!

I love movies like this. A bunch of people trapped, with no communication/transportation, and a murderous foe? I'm there.

I watch a lot of such movies (I just binged on Greg McLean...Wolf Creek 1&2, Rogue) and there are always plot holes and idiotic decisions made by the characters. Usually I can forgive/ignore the logic leaps, but one in The Breed bugged me.

Why did they never use that bow? For instance, when Michelle Rodriguez was trapped on the barn/garage, the dogs were surrounding the building. They were easy pickings from the house. There were so many times they could've at least thinned the pack.

Now one might say they were saving the arrows in case they absolutely needed them, but what good are arrows to dead people? And sure, Oliver Hudson clearly wasn't the best shot, but better to shoot and miss then never shoot at all.

Same thoughts here. As well as none thought about carrying knives. Just once a baseball bat. There were many ways to at least reduce the number of dogs. In one of the last scenes one brother wastes time to remove a protective jacket (!) before mounting in the car. This movie was beyond stupid.
