watched it stoned...

This movie made me trip kind of weird. The robot humping everything pissed me off. The movie had its moments though, and I have to admit Hunger Force is more funny stoned than sober. I don't think it's funny at all sober when I'm stoned I gave it a few laughs.

I love Aqua Teen. I own every episode. My voicemail message is a Mooninite quote. I love Aqua Teen (slightly) more when stoned.

When stoned, I dislike this movie. When sober, I want to sue them for false advertising. They advertised the DVD as having a "whole 'nother movie" and on the DVD packaging it refers to it as the "80 Minute Deleted Movie". My friends and I were very excited at the prospect of a different, hopefully funny, movie. I would have never bought the DVD if I would have known that it would effectively be the exact same crap.

Not all the dank on God's green earth could make this movie enjoyable. I was actually thinking about horribly *beep* movies that I've seen throughout the years, and this one popped up first, beating out Jason X.

i watched it drunk and it was hilarious!

It was freaky watching it stoned...

Especially when you have surround-sound, because some effects kind of jump out at you.

...but it definately made the movie more funnier. Still, I think I wound up zoning out towards the end of it for some reason.

I thought it made more sense when I was lit up.

No joke. I thought it was funnier too.

Stuff like this reminds me of "Movie Poop Shoot.com" from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

I love the film sober. but when me and my brother and wife were watching it all stoned i turned it off "I dont know what the *beep* is going on" and it felt like i was going on and on and i only watched 15min of it.

I bet you guys are all about 10 years old. Either that or you've never been stoned. How the hell is everybody tripping? You guys smoking PCP and meth or what? The only thing that watching it stoned should do is make you laugh your ass off or eat a ton of Dorittos.

But hey, you guys get cool points for say "I'm SOO cool for watching this stoned, and it's really a scary movie". I want to be JUST like you...

reply

I know, I wish i could just like you a wise ass that only gets kicks from acting like a jack-off. But here is the question to you, did you watch it stoned?if you have not then *beep* off, but if you have please indulge me with yourstory.

I watched this film for the first time in its entirety while on acid. I can honestly relate to the people on this thread who found the film scary. The movie has a far more playful overtone when watching it sober; however my first experience with the movie was far more sinister. Still great, there are a lot of subtleties in the dialogue that seem directed at people on psychedelics, while watching it I was absolutely convinced that it was made for people on drugs, the start scene just after the heavy metal intro, oh my God, how it starts, fades to black, comes back on, and flashes once more, then turns blue and there in Egypt had me fumbling for the remote. And when they’re all coming out of there disguises blew my mind.. F-king brilliant movie.

i was entertained by and relate to kitty's story. therefore, i care. so it is a fact that you are wrong. it is also my opinion that you are an idiot and should be the one shutting up.

I've also watched this movie on LSD, with two other companions, when it was first released. We still talk about it to this day. Truly one of the stranger cinematic experiences of my life. The beginning had us spinning in circles. A blend of laughter and anxiety kept rising and subsiding. Good times.

You soft *beep* This movie rulz when ya stoned! Even though it's random as *beep* I still understood the main "storyline".

I know the show can be hilarious when baked, I came across it when I was smoking (Handbanana) and was hooked. The film doesn't have that many laugh out loud moments though, I reckon I'd just sit there basically brain dead if I was high.

My main complaint with the film is that there wasn't enough Carl for me. Carl makes the show.
