Would t-bag have been in gen pop?

dont paedophiles / child rapists and child killers get put in segregation otherwise they are likely to get killed in prison?

I have never been to prison but i cant imagine someone like him would last very long (my only interpretation from this is from movies but from the movies i have seen, child killers dont last very long)

reply

Correct. They are always put in a special section due to the high risk of them being killed by other inmates.

reply

That is completely untrue. I worked as a correctional officer for 9 years. They have different custodies and they don't put A-C custody in seg based on their crime. Occruences of an inmate being beaten for being a pedophile is drastically exaggerated. It rarely happens. Probably because most inmates lie about why they are incarcerated.

reply

Interesting. What about rape in prison? is that grossly exaggerated in the media too? In pretty much ever film / tv show someone gets raped, off the top of my head i am thinking oz / prison break / american history x / shawshank redemption

reply

It is from what I saw. I seldom saw any evidence of rapes. It may have occurred and the inmate didn't report it. There was this one guy that had some mental issues and he went around constantly masturbating. He got beat up pretty bad and sent to the hospital because he wouldn't stop.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MJzsZD0Fuak not according to this man but I guess it depends on which prison you are incarcerated. Also, say what you will about Pedophiles/child murderers but they would never be at the top of the prison hierarchy and the fact that the inmates at Gen pop in PB knew of T-Bag's history but adored and idolized him is greatly exaggerated and ridiculous.
