Characters you were supposed to like that you hated

C-Note. He was such a smug piece of sh-t. Always talking down and mocking Michael when Michael was the only reason he'd be getting out in the first place.

Tweener. Sure wasn't sad to see him die. Does anyone in real life actually talk like that? He deserved to be hated in prison, he was obnoxious and annoying.

LJ. Whiny little brat. The actors crying was laughable and pathetic. Glad he was written out of the show for the most part.

reply

I agree about LJ, I always wanted to smack his face in, always spazzing out about something. C-Note was often a jerk to Michael but he was like that with everyone in prison, just an act so he doesn't get hurt or killed.

reply

Totally agree about C-Note. He was actually a decent guy. Just like Sucre.

reply

T Bag? pretty overrated.

So go on. Kiss me. Kill me. Do something.

reply

Read the post Ms. Hooked on fonix, "characters you were supposed to like that you hated" obviously T-BAG had kind of the opposite effect for most people.

Michael and Linc

I came here to see if there was a thread on C-Note. He was horrible! Always demanding to know exactly what Michael was doing and then getting p*ssed when Michael was like 'I'm handling it' you don't need to know everything.

He was such an 'angry black man' trope and I wouldn't have been sad at all of he hadn't made it out of the prison alive.

I'm currently on Season 2 episode 18 and now he's trying to get Michael caught by using the chat room. What a jerk. Hope he's gone in season three.

1, I have to agree with people about C-Note but I never got an inkling that the writers intended or even wanted us to like him.

2. T-Bag - Once again, I don't think it was ever the intention that we were supposed to like T-Bag, but his character definitely is a fan favorite that I just don't see the appeal of.

reply

That's true- I don't think we were ever supposed to particularly like C-Note. Probably the same with T-Bag, but the actor did a such great job making him charming, sympathetic, occasionally funny that it was hard not to like him a little. He was a bad dude, but I found myself rooting for him sometimes. But then he'd kill someone and it'd remind us that he he's not a guy you should want to win.

I know he doesn't die in the series, but i think he should've been killed.

Linc, his whole bullying every person thing, got old.
