Dax Shepard is a horrible actor

Seriously, how the hell did this guy get into showbiz? His jokes are flat and stupid.

His jokes are written by someone else.

I believe he was acting, ie: prison, dry humor, sarcasm etc etc. He was perfect.

reply

Seriously.

Truly, though, the only people that know how someone is acting, how they should act, etc., are the people involved in the making of the movie. We can only say how we wish they would have act, or make conjecture.

I would not have changed a thing here.

I find his acting style terrible myself. See Hit and Run for more evidence...however I must say his flat delivery seemed perfect for this b movie trash that I loved.

Arnett isn't that good of an actor either and Chi McBride keeps disappointing me with bad roles for his style but they were both great in this as well. I would say they stand out was Odenkirk long before Breaking Bad put him into normal day conversation, he had me rolling when he finally got to crush the snotty Beiderman character played by Arnett. Or just his expression when Barry, the newly adopted son, walks into his office.

It was a terrible movie with a bunch of bad actors that I absolutely loved because it just came together in a cheese laden cauldron.

nah you don't know nothin. He's actually pretty good in this.

"Harry !!...your hands are freezing !"

He's probably the main reason i didn't like this movie. I thought he was very promising back in the early Punk'd days, but since then i have disliked him in anything I've seen him in. I do occasionally wonder whether i should rewatch this and give it another chance. The director is normally a very talented performer.
