It wasn't AVPR or Friday The 13th (2009) dark but it needed better lighting.
shareI made a comment on the AVPR site about this same thing - I get SFX are expensive - so "let's make it dark" covers up some/most flaws - but seriously NOT seeing anything?
I'm waiting for the riveting radio version - maybe it will clear things up.

I agree. I just finished watching this and from the Uncle's House on, I was like "what the hell is going on?" Lots of rain, something happens while they're in a cage, some things happen underwater, people I don't recognize are getting stabbed then...THE END. I thought it was just the settings on my TV.
No wonder the ratings on this are so low.

It's curious to me - as - yes we have some crazy hot actresses on a beach - duh - the lighting is fine - me like boobs n stuff - then at some point - it's wtf?
Did they run out of money for ?? decent film stock - lighting staff? - lights - I have no clue.
AVPR - this is NOT an endorsement - was at least consistent - you couldn't see shiz for most of it anyway.

I agree. I had to turn on captioning so that I could maybe get a few speaking tags because I was having a hard time recognizing who was gasping. Was a decent enough movie until that point.
