I'm totally irritated...

By how bad this movie is...the pretty white tourist go to Brazil and they survive seemingly unfazed. The LEAD characters survive unscathed and are able to return home to America and can put all the unpleasantness behind them.

I wished the surgeon/organ transplant dude wasn't a psycho. I think that bothered me more than anything else. He actually had a righteous cause I could get behind but I guess he had to be crazy because 1) He's Brazilian 2) one with a plan to balance the corruption that happens in his country. If he wasn't bats**t crazy he could've been a decent and interesting anti-hero/villain.

The tourists were honestly really boring. They weren't even sympathetic or particularly likeable. Just kill 'em. Simple as that. It's done all the time in horror movies especially when the women are running around in skimpy bikinis.

I did like Pru's character speaking Portuguese but that's about it. Just a mainstream weak "thriller" that did nothing to thrill me.

Kiss my grits!

We all love this movie in my house. It says in the trivia that Melissa's character was supposed to die in original script and just leave Josh and Olivia's character alive. This was a pretty unique movie. The underwater scenes alone were very suspenseful. I loved the idea of the doctor doing good for kids too but yeah you don't kill innocent people for other innocent people. This is why they should allow people on death row or life in prison to be organ donors.

I enjoy this movie. It makes you keep in mind to keep it safe when traveling in other countries, and nto trail off from tourist areas. I noticed alot of people have hate for this film for some reason. I don't really understand why. It's well written, with good acting and a realistic plot. Eh, to each their own.

That's why I love this movie. It's realistic and not impossible. Organ stealing is a thing just not a glorified news thing doesn't mean things like this don't happen. It could have had a bit better story but for a horror flick, this is better than it has the right to be.
