Apparently, in terms of new material it sucks a$$ (except new characters, they look decent). Fortunatley the fighting is more polished than its ever been, bearing in mind the core fighting is the only thing necessary, its gonna rock!

Two hunderd thousand Orcs on your doorstep...Now thats alot of Orcs!

Extremely disappointed with it, they should just have called it SoulCalibur 2.5

I only hate the "chronicles of the sword" they need the old misson battle from the original and bring back TEAM battle but everything is awesome I give it a 9.2
and so far I made Dante in this game and he can kick any of your sorry @$$ who didnt like the third one that much

But the original Soul Calibur is still the BEST ONE and SOUL BLADE following after it

I only miss the Nightmare and Cervantes voices from SCII

I think Soul calibur 3 is one of the best fighting games ever made

Great graphics and good selection of characters and the introduction of character creation (which was a great idea for a fighting game)
Chronicles of the sword is a fun and great mode and it's way better than soul calibur 5's story mode and gaunlet mode from broken destiny
