Most boring movie i've ever seen in my life!

I kept on expecting something big or exciting to happen. Then around one hour in, i just wanted SOMETHING to happen, ANYTHING!! IT was one of the most boring movies i've ever seen!! The pace was sooooo slow!! It moved like a snail with a handicap! The only reason i stuck through it was b/c i was having a lazy sunday and just wanted to lay there on my couch and there was nothing else on.

So i warn you, if you have low tolerance for slow moving, boring, non-eventful movies, with practically no plot, STAY CLEAR OF THIS MOVIE!!!

Wish I'd read your post BEFORE I wasted almost 2 hours watching this, because you're right; it was pretty damned boring.

That was your first mistake. Never expect anything from a film, as no two films are alike. All films should be judged separately within a singular context.

What did you want to happen exactly? The film is a German art-drama, based on true events and directed by a documentary filmmaker, focusing on a character suffering from severe mental illness. What could you have possibly expected the film to offer that it didn't?

You're the worst kind of film goer.

Passive.

You let the film wash over you and expect it to work for you, rather than with you. No one should watch a film simply to pass the time. For me, that notion is absurd, since no film exists for such a purpose. Even something like AnchorMan or The Waterboy requires audience participation on some level, whether it's in regards to empathising with the characters or simply recognising the basic levels of humour.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS MOVIE

You have no authority to tell people not to watch a film. You're opinion is no greater than anyone else. All of the points of your initial post suggest that you watched the film without really knowing what it is. That is a fault of your own, not the fault of the film. If you didn't connect to it, it's because you made no effort to. You expected the film to keep you entertained while you lazed on the couch, which is entirely the wrong way to experience any kind of film.

uhmmm... lets call a spade a spade. This movie was a stinker. It was slow as snails in molasses in January. It did little to tell the story, and a lot to waste freaken time.

The story, the concepts, sorry this isn't rocket science. This isn't the most complex of stories. Sorry it just isn't.

This movie is about the life of a women in torment from satan. If you want to be dazzled by special effects or something scary, that was not the purpose of the film. People with similar experiences will view it differently and appreciate it. This is a common age group of women that become possessed. It is reality, it happens and we need to save lives because if handed to the church a satanic cult then the demons have a field day

If you think this is the most boring movie, you obviously haven't seen 2001: A Space Odyssey.

2001 A Space Odyssey boring ? are you out of your mind ?
It's one the greatest movie ever made , not boring at all , I even wished the movie would last longer !!
But i agree with those that said that Requiem was boring , i didn't expect a movie like the exorcist I knew it was about Annaliese Michel what she's been through , this movie looked like an unfinished one , i wish they would have showed more , maybe a bit of the exorcism , they don't even showed nor say at the end of the movie that her parents and the two priests went to court and they were sent to jail !!! That's why i say this movie looked like and unfinished one !

Too many fans of mindless pop-corn flicks. Let me guess, are they from the US and A?

I really enjoyed this thought-provoking movie, ain't perfect but it is quite refreshing to see a movie about a supposed "posession" without showing all the "mumbo jumbo".
This movie is intriguing because the creators decided not to take sides. We don't know if the girl's strange episodes had a psychological or supernatural explanation. The audience must decide what's going on.

IMO It's much better than The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

Augh, I am really sick of this "You just don't understand good movies, you only like things that are mindless, you must be American" attitude. Just because someone isn't moved by a film, please don't jump to the assumption that they obviously haven't seen true films, or get into stereotypes.

Yea, I gave up after about 20 minutes. I was really hoping for a little nudity, and when I saw her swimming in bra and panties, I decided to move on to more fertile ground.
