Question
From how the story is told in the film, it's Michaela who is convinced herself to be possessed, while the priests are, at the least at the beginning, sceptical and try to convince her to go to a psychiatrist, but she refuses, since she thinks the medicines she was taking were useless.
But at the end of the film, it's told that Michaela died after several attempts of exorcism.
So, in the real story, was Michaela convinced herself to be possessed, or the priests made her and her parents believe she was?
