I rewatched this again last nite and I never realized how much he had to kiss ass and do degrading things for that job. Even though he was brilliant, I realized its not really about how smart you are, its about how far he was willing to go for the job.

And even worse, I just kept thinking what if he didnt even get the job after doing all that.
I remember watching this movie when it first came out and really liking it but when I seen it again a few days ago, it was like I was watching a totally different movie with a totally different meaning. It was disappointing.

Seems like a lot of people in college nowadays are accused of brown-nosing. A lot of people think all grades, job promotions etc.. are fake. Of course though, in some subjects you can't brown-nose yourself to the top.
