Am I the Only One Who Really Likes This Movie? - Pulse (2006) Discussion

I wouldn't consider this as one of my favourite movies ever, but I must say I appreaciated it a lot more than the original version, which left me confused and not knowing what the heck I had just seen. All in all, Pulse is an entertaining film which kept me wondering what was happening, and what was going to happen next. Maybe for me it's more a thriller than a terror film, except for the last half an hour or so.
So, yes, I like this film. I give it 8 out of 10.
Now you see that there is another one. LOL

I really like it as well.

It is by no means fantastic, but I really liked the idea behind it as well as the ending. All in all, great movie. :)

I liked it too, I mean, it's not genius or anything, but compared to most other modern horror movies, it had something going for it - the basic plot idea is a pretty cool and scary concept, plus it's tone and style is just really dark, bitter and has this discomfiting feel of growing isolation in the middle of a metropolitan area. All though not great, the acting was ok, which goes for the effects too. Though some of the charracters were a bit generic and onedimensionel, with out any really develompent, but other than that, you could go a lot worse in the jungle of modern day horror..

And I love the fact that you never really finds out what this evil weird frequence they've found is, and it basicly ends up causing judgement day - it's nice to see a movie thay goes all the way..

I remember really liking it when it first came out but I rewatched it recently and found I didn't like it nearly as much. I mean, it's a decent movie, well made and everything but it was a lot more random than I remembered.

I love this movie too. Not that great but a movie doesn't have to be great for you to like it, (seriously). For those that can't find the DVD, check Amazon.com or netflix of something like that.
