pretty good plot
brought down by some really bad acting.
mos def was really excellent in his role, but thats about it.

I agree. Could have been a decent movie. Fraser's acting was terrible ("Stage 4C!! There isn't a Stage 5... gaahh *sniff* *sniff*"). Mos Def was excellent.
shareFor me Brendan's acting was terriFIC, specially in that scene you mentioned. The scene was very touching, maybe because I know what he was talking about. An overwhelmingly moving scene. Great, great performance.
