This film is in my Top 10 Horror films made after 2000

I love the setting for starters. An isolated, frozen over setting is always a great way to set up mood.

I like the actors and thought they played their roles very well.

I even liked the few glimpses of CGI Elk spirits we are shown.

But the best part, is the ending! I love that it just cuts off without actually fully explaining or showing what is going on.

Same here! I just watched it today and I was impressed. The vague ending (very Hitchcock to do that - leaving your imagination to fill in the blank of what happened) was chilling.
