Things that bothered me

First of all I would like to say that I enjoyed the film, however there was some scenes in it that almost made me turn of the TV.

1. After the boy found his dog brutally murdered he didn't tell anyone. What did he seriously expect had happened? By telling the rest they could have made some sort of defense and stuck together, but no, he obviously thought it was better to keep it a secret.

2. Before the old man was killed. At first he hears voices all around him, however they all come from the car? Ok, will let that pass, however he gets killed because there is someone in the backseat, really... I don't think that one needs an explanation.

3. The boy acts like an idiot. He points a gun at his friend thinking he is cool, and acts like he so familiar with guns and all, and later he can't do sh%t with it.

4. The boy's action when he finds the inbreed eating his mother. Really dude... you gave a GUN!!! I was so close to turn of the TV because of this scene. If you wanted to lure him into your trap, just let him follow you and don't waste bullets, or you could just have shot him right there!!

5. The fact that Doug did not finish of the inbreed at the end...

Still an enjoyable movie though

just accept the movie logic even though i also found the movie excruciating to watch after finding out that this is going to be another "really dumb characters" horror movie.

and yes... the first sign was indeed when their dog was pulled away from a "supposedly empty area" and viciously killed but movie logic dictates that keeping it a secret is apparently the better option.

just realize that the characters were made intentionally dumb except for when the situation calls for the opposite, like how the brother loves his guns but apparently needs to blow up a trailer to kill a goon while the brother-in-law apparently hates guns but has no problems expertly wielding a shotgun.

What really bothered me was when the big guy attacked the glasses guy in the house (breakfast time scene) and the dog comes and saves the day. The dog jumps and bites his hand leaving him distracted and practically incapacitated for a good 10,20 seconds. What does glasses guy do? Take his bat to his head and finish it? No, he runs and allows the retard to compose himself and punch the dog into a coma.
Any person fighting a huge deformed meatbag who gets jumped by a dog and panicks would immediately go for the kill, but no: Leave the dog to distract him for a second while I hide in the bathroom.

Andskotinn!

Let us not forget that Pluto dropped the ax when Beast bit him on the arm and he could have just picked it up and put it through his skull like he did later and he would still have all five fingers on his left hand.

1. The family was stranded out in the middle of nowhere. The whole situation was messed up. I could understand Bobby not wanting to tell them.

2. Big Bob didn't know where the voices were coming from. And there was no clear indication that the voices were coming from the car.

3. I agree. Bobby was very foolish and irresponsible with that gun. I didn't approve of his behavior. You never point a gun at someone, not even in a jokingly type of way. That was uncalled for.

4. Even though I did think the trailer blowing up made for a cool scene, I could also agree that it was highly unnecessary. And I also agree that Bobby was a super lousy shot. He had so many chances to shoot that cannibal maniac. He wasted so many bullets. But then again, I guess I would say that he was totally freaked out and probably not on his A-game. I mean, I'm not sure how I would react if I witnessed a cannibal feasting on my mom's dead body either. But then again, on a side-note...I'd probably use the gun more accurately than Bobby did, regardless how distraught I was. Just sayin.

5. To be fair, Doug thought he was dead.
