I think it'll be 'simulated' real time, as in scenes will be lengthened or shortened to accomodate.

i read at Gamespot.com that the game is actually going to have 24 hours of gameplay ... cool ... damn i cannot wait for this game

Well come on it wont be 24 if it wasn't in real time.

Unless you count that cellphone (mobile phone) only spinoff and that movie.

Yes and no.

There will be a distinct "24 Hours" bit about it to simulate the show, however, it isn't STRICTLY to the second so those without gaming prowess equivilant to Jack Bauer can still truely enjoy the game.
