maybe he was the most popular by the public and/or the producers

yea think about it. he got the most sketches on the videos (if u count them all on each) he got his own series (Cuthbert's Diary) if he had gone instead of Arty it would'nt have lasted as long as it did

yeah, it must've been that popular and richard waites must've loved playing him which is why he probably ditched tricky instead of cuthbert

Could it be possible that Cuthbert and Tricky were to phisical 2 take on at once bcuz they both do an lot of running about

It's possible but with editing in the 90's and 2000's it could of been richard in both places.

you don't usually see tricky and cuthbert at the same time though on the comic

when it's cuthbert turn tricky's there but cuthbert isn't

when it's smart arty's turn you see cuthbert but only see tricky for a split second

when it's the handymens turn you see cuthbert and only a glimpse of tricky's hat

when it's tricky's turn tricky's not there but cuthbert is!

The studio for where the zzzap comic was must've been massive cause in series 2-7 the camera is quite far away from the comic during the credits and the studio must've been big!
