Wow these arguments are great! I think everyone needs to calm and breathe slow, count from 1-10 with your eyes closed. (Sorry Alesha Dixon).

Anywayyy enough of my crap, no one is selling their things for money on here, end of. Now let's get back to on-topic threads and posts yeah?

"Yeah, we do do DVD recorders *chews gum*"

Yup, I find that PC World service is hit or miss.

Next week, an inarticulate Burger King poster child who doesn't know his dual-core processor from his Duke of Edinburgh.

I always thought you could only sell official releases of things and not home recordings..

reply

A lot of people sell official releases of things on ebay and some people sell boxes of old tapes they don't want anymore so some people sell home recordings as well.

reply

True, but I have a feeling that's breaching the copyright laws.

He may as well chuck money down the toilet!

I did that once, well technically it slipped out my hand, it was only 2p though!

The best idea is to trade programmes with somebody

That's one reason as to why I opened www.tvtrade.proboards.com (Cough Cough! Log on to it!)

reply

Yeah and they only reason I refuse to listen is because it's pointless what your saying, What me and my Mum do with our money is up too us it has nothing to do with you Tom.

Hi Tom

Ignore that, Your right i'll trade with people I suppose then it's not illegal sorry.

I do mean that 100% alright, Now let's just leave it ok.

PS. Don't mention anything I've done in my past, I've completely changed since then.

Posts from DigitalSpy forums from a year ago saw you trying to convince the users that you were to set up a 'CBBC Classics' channel with money you won on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?!

LMFAO!
That has just made my day!

reply

OK Yeah I got band from there last year last June I'm not afraid to admit that, but at least I've grown up since then and If I could have my time again on there I would, Anyway I'm bored of this now so I'll just leave.

Thanks anyway for your Advice Tom and yeah I will take it. I've got more things I can spend my money on like Ebay instead of trading.

Saving money is good too.
The worst attitude to have in a recession is: "I wonder how quickly I can get rid of this £100?"

reply

[deleted]

Yeah, nothing wrong with second-hand, most of the stuff you can buy works perfectly at half the price.
You can do far worse than boot sales too, provided you avoid the thieves and bong merchants.

Lol, cannabis is becoming scarily acceptable. I saw a job application form recently, which said:

'Apart from the occasional smoke of cannabis, do you regularly use illegal drugs?'

Maybe it's not too dangerous health-wise, but it's still illegal.

reply

[deleted]

It should definitely be legalised, along with marijuana etc.

It'll put the drug traffickers out of business!

That might be true, but they'll just move on to crack, heroin and more dangerous stuff. I personally think keeping it illegal is safer.

Trading is an excellent idea and something i've recently started doing. I did my first sucsessful trade this week and got hold of a few old shows. It is ridiculous when people charge a lot of money for old tv recordings. I'd udnerstand a few pounds for the dvd and postage. Trading is an excellent idea and everyone adds to their collections.
