I have searched everywhere (amazon,google...) for the soundtrack but I can't find it. It seems like the whole songs in the show are sung by one artist. Does anybody know what's his name is?
Recently I watched the first episode of The Wire and there was a song which seems to be from the same singer.
Any help is appreciated.

I heard him too the first time on Thief and liked each of his songs.
I remember when Knappy Roots came out with 'Po Folks'. The singer in the background just stuck out to me and I looked him up. I found his CD with Mama Knew Love and Comin' From Where I'm From and just fell in lov with his style and talent. Soulife came out and I knew I was buying that CD. Then I got hooke on Thief heard Anthony's Comin' from Wher ei'm From and said, "Nice to see him getting used." Then that alst episode played Pass Me Over and I was like, "WHAT!! He has another CD out!!?" Ain't Nobody Worryin is a good CD. He has another one out now, maybe two, since then. Gotta have em. He's good.
