I have heard that this is based on a play (Marthi?). Is this true? Anyone know what it's about. I liked the trailer, and the name evokes a lot of thoughts (if its not about what I think it is, I have a good idea myself inspired from the title). Anyone got some info? :)

I'm not a big fan of the tradional Bollywood fluff. But some of the newer (movies without songs) have drawn my attention.
Yes I have seen the movie, though in a DVD format. The movie is very well made. Wonderful screenplay and music is in sync with the mood of the subject. The characters are palpable and the dialogues are lucid. Terrific performances by one and all. Kher and Urmila steal the show together.
Yes, there is no traditional song and dance sequence in the movie. The movie is about 110 mins. This one is definitely worth a dekho. Another recent hindi movie suggestion if I may would be Sudhir Mishra's "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi"
