This show is basically everything everybody here grew up with. Obvious references or as hateful speech will call it rip offs of classic shows like Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, and even contemporary counterparts like Fairly Odd Parents.

The show isn't bad itself. It seems people in general tend to absolutely rage hate whenever something is a "rip off" of another show rather than consider it a parody or homage to it.

I constantly see people here complaining about the quality of the animation. Yet was Dexter's Lab really any better? Most of you probably watch Adult Swim. So how about Sealab 2021? I really hate how nostalgia douche bags seem to conviniently omit everything that was pretty crappy about their old "perfect" shows.

Also this is a cartoon for... KIDS.... First and foremost this is a show aimed at children or if you are really grasping at straws, for immature adults/teens. Not everything has to have some kind of hidden meaning that adults will get or be entertained by. Sometimes its just hey kids like silly stuff like a fart based super power.

Once you accept the show for what it is, it turns out to be pretty funny.

It borrows heavily from other shows. It is not "deep" by any means. Get over it. Enjoy it or move a long.

I dunno, even for a "kids" show, this show is pretty bad. Kids shows can still have likeable characters, funny jokes, good writing etc. Look at Misadventures of flapjack, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Sanjay and Craig, Gravity falls, or even any of the cartoons you mentioned. This is pretty crap compared to any of those.

Primeval_Scum pretty much summed it up Johnny Test just isn't that good especially the title character who's an 11 year old jerk face who doesn't suffer any karmic retribution for his douchey actions and every other character on that show are about as one-dimensional as Johnny.
