4 minutes in and I wanted to Kill Penny myself

I almost took a meat skewer to myself in my living room. This movie was annoying and difficult to sit through. It becomes almost a contest to see if you can force yourself to struggle through it. I mean, you put soo much effort into it that you feel like it just wouldn't be fair to yourself to actually quit and turn it off. Totally unrealistic and one of the worst endings of a film that I have seen in years.

Amen! I was HAPPY when the final credits appeared. This will be the first 1 on my rating.

Absolutely. This movie was so bad!! The main character was outright annoying I hoped she would die and yet (Spoilers!!) she does not even have the courtesy to get brutally slaughtered! The movie is 90 minutes of some sniveling, crying little girl that, for some unexplained reason, is kept alive while a killer murders EVERYONE ELSE!!

What stupid, pointless movie!

I am glad that I am not the only person that could not tolerate her. Before the man ever showed up I wanted the Psych to push her out of the car. I don't know much after the Psych left the car. I just could not take more whining. Why in hell didn't they just let take her pills and be happy and QUIET! And preferably NEVER on film.

I think of myself as an empathetic person but I just could not take one more second of her! In a film you have to like at least one character to care at all about watching the movie. There was no one to like here.

LOL

Yea, I can relate. She did need a good spanking, that's for sure.

By the way, what was that ending all about? It was kinda stupid if you ask me.

I agree. I wanted to kill her also. But I think it's just Rachel Miner. Ever since Bully, I can't stand to look at her. She is just very annoying in general. I think the film had a good plot, a great idea but it could've been conveyed better. I was not scared at any point in the film. It was not stressful. 28 Weeks later was VERY stressful as an example. Having the dead body in the car the whole time was a good touch. And they were always showing close-ups of the corpse which gave the idea that it may animate but we knew it wouldn't. But I would give this a 5 for plot and some good ideas.

I agree, but isn't that true of all the victims and potential victims in these kind of movies? I wanted to kill the entire cast of "House of Wax" less than four minutes in (except for Paris Hilton, of course, who I wanted to make suffer horribly first). I don't find one whiny victim necessarily anymore annoying than the entire cast of vapid twenty-something stereotypes you see in most of these movies today.

I also disagree with you about Rachel Miner (sort of). Her character was irritating, but at least she can act (kind of). She's better than the movies she's been in (although that's not saying much). And at least in this movie unlike in "Bully" she wasn't co-starring with the likes of Brad Renfro and Bijou Phillips or submitting to gynecological examinations by Larry "the Dirty Old Man with a Film Camera" Clark.

THANK GOD!!!

I just went on here to see what others thought of the film, and what rating they gave it, and when I saw that most People gave it a ten I was like -_-....

THIS MOVIE WAS AWFUL!!!! I couldn't even watch the whole thing. The acting was hideous, and, like most horror movies, it didn't make realistic sense. I mean, come on! Why would you pick the hitchhiker up?! Please!!! Yes, I totally agree that this movie is unrealistic. I just couldn't stand it. It was terrible! I'm glad someone agrees! ^_^

45 minutes into it and I wanted to kill myself for watching such a piece of crap. I'm actually writing this as I'm watching it. I find myself wanting to pull out the old thesaurus to find more words to describe how horribly stupid this movie is, but it's not worth the time and effort. You really do have to force yourself to sit through this movie.
