shareShowing tonight on Film 4 as part of their thus far excellent Argentinian film season. It's always wonderful to see original thoughtful film-making when 90% of Hollywood's output seems to be re-hashed, re-imagined unnecessary tosh titles to appeal to popcorn sensibilities...Bravo Film 4 your programming reminds me of the inspirational Cinema International seasons that used to air late at night in the 70's
shareFilm Four used to show a hell of a lot more good films until it went free. Now 90% of the stuff on Film Four is awful, and we only get a decent film every now and then (at 1 or 2 in the morning). While I'm glad they are showing ths film tonight, there programming could be a LOT better (as it used to be).
