Uncut version of La Antena ?

A friend of mine recently purchased this film and says there are bits in the trailer that are not in the film. Can anyone confirm this ?

I was an editor on the film, and I can tell you there are probably 50 more minutes fully posptroduced that were cut from the movie for pacing reasons. Some of these deleted scenes are on the argentinean dvd edition, as extra material. But most of these unused film is not, some are extended scenes from the ones in the movie, some are extra scenes, and a few are completely different takes on scenes or parts of the story than the ones that ended up in the final cut.
As for now its almost certain there wont be any extended cut released in cinemas or dvd... but who knows. hopefully there will be.

Thanks very much for the information! I also hope we may see an uncut version one day.

Hi - Yeah, I just bought and watched La Antena on DVD in the UK, and watched the trailer afterwards, in which it seems to show The Voice naked and being attacked and injected with something by Mr TV (in an office?). I assume that this scene comes just before the repair man finds her glove then sees her body being taken away on a stretcher by Mr TV's cohorts.
I'd love to see an uncut version of this film sometime too, but even still - one of the best films I've seen in a long time.

according to wikipedia:
"The DVD contains a number of deleted scenes that expand on the movie. Among these are featured a scene presenting the Rat Man looking at a family portrait of anthropomorphic mice, a scene leading to Ana's father and grandfather being fired (as well as a shorter episode where the grandfather laments the dismissal), a scene depicting La Voz stripping in front of Mr. TV (followed by her drugging and kidnapping), an altogether different introduction for Dr. Y (as well as a presentation of the transmission device) and both an alternate beginning and ending. The alternate beginning differs from the one in the final cut in that it explains the existence of "balloon men". The alternate ending does not contradict the final cut ending but rather expands on it: in the ending, after Mr. TV has finished Dr. Y off, La Voz frees herself from her bondage and realizes much to her rage that she now has a face but apparently cannot talk anymore. She then takes hold of a remote control and "deletes" Mr. TV. It also shows Mr. TV's son freeing himself from a chained television and proceeding to write on a typewriter (the shots matching those of two hands writing on a typewriter at the beginning of the film)."

In my eyes, all of those would have been unnecessary (except maybe the ending).
