Hemantkhan- who said anything about wanting things to be realistic?
The problem with G.M. is that it doesn't have a single female charcter with any personality and it gives out a really bad message about how to treat women and love. Akki's character is uncaring and cruel to 4 people, he is never sorry about it, and at no point does anyone in the film have a go at him for being so dispicable.
I have no problem with films being fun and fantastical, bring on! I loved 'Hulchul', 'Malamaal Weekly' and 'Hungama' and none of them were in anyway realistic. I even loved 'Masti' and that was about 3 guys heading out to cheat on their wives! The messes they end up in are hilarious, but at the end of the film they learn the error of their ways. Plus all four female parts actually have a character to play
Sorry the only time I laughed in this one was when Akshay was doing his slapstick physical comedy, he has brilliant comic timing, I look forward to seeing him do it in a film with a decent story...
