Re-creating the ball parks for the movie


How did they do that? I mean some of those ball parks like Ebbets Field and the Polo Grounds looked like the real McCoy.

A darn fine job, too.

But oddly, they never recreated Wrigley Field, nor used it for filming, it being the only NL Park from 1947 still in existence today.

They don't call it Hollywood magic for nothing. But yeah, from the uniforms to the ball parks, they did an outstanding job recreating the time and place/s for 42.
