Timesplitters 1

What happened plot wise in the first game I've got the other two and am curious!

It's time to kick a$$ and chew bubble gum. But I'm all out of gum.

nothing much. its was along the lines of T.S 2, except you never got cut scenes to watch. you visited each level, picked up an item, and ran back to the portal as Timesplitters beamed in all around.
I don't think there was much of a plot, to be honest, but there might have been a vague plot where people from each time period had to battle these aliens that could go back in time. eehhhhhh.... that's pretty much the jist of it. its a good game, which the series couldn't have made it without.

I didn't think TS1 had a story at all, though I was almost tricked into believing the "story" was going to pick up after playing the game for the first time. I thought the first few levels were just opening levels, and eventually the characters would run into each other and devise a plan agains the TimeSplitters. I guess it was really the multiplayer that helped the game.

If you have TS2 and 3, just don't bother with 1. The sequels take everything from TS1 and make them MUCH better.

Which characters are in it from TSFP?

reply

I don't know ALL of them, but the three most notable characters are Robofish, Duckman Drake, and the Gingerbread Man. Some characters from TS1 just kept getting makeovers in the sequels, like the Gretel bots.

Teeth Mummy, Lt. Christine Malone

...and the Chinese Chef.

I think in FP there is actually a row in the "character select" menu showing all of the characters from the three games. That's only a suspicion though.
