My 4 yar-old son loves this game!

My son has been playing this game since he was 3, and now he's better than me(his mom) and his 12 year-old uncle(he's a gamer, too). His dad and I always played this game, and I guess he wanted to do what we did, so now he plays it too.
Am I a bad parent for letting him play this? It's his favorite game and I don't want to take it from him. He plays a lot of other different games too, that are more age appropriate, like Spongebob, Pacman, Jak&Daxter.
What are your thoughts?

If your son are able to play TimeSplitters, by all means let him play it.

except for the haunted house level i think the game is pretty tame.

well, sir, YOUR THOUGHTS ARE WRONG. But anyways, my son is now 6 and he's moved on from Timesplitters, and now plays nothing but Xbox360. He's too good for a 6 year old.

Thanks for the heads up. I like to think that I watch my son really well on there. And I've already talked to him about this. I told him if there's ever anyone who talks to him funny, tell me, and not to give his name or anything else over xbox live. Maybe I should think about taking away the headset so he can't talk to others.

I'm all for letting kids play violent video games, but you're going to cause severe irreperable damage to his social life if you let him play constantly from the age of four. In 12 years when he moves out (if he ever does), give up all chances of a girlfriend for him.
