How come no one likes story mode?

I've completed all but 3 challanges and all but three levels in Honorary League, but my favourite is the story mode.

Going aroudn the same area in arcade is never as good as the set pieces, bosses and continuing maps of the missions.

But of course thats just my opinion, so I was wondering how many hate/love the story missions.

story mode was ok. it was the online option i enjoyed the most. its a shame how ea shut down the servers. i'll never forgive them for that!

anyway, i found the story mode for part 3 to be a little too easy. part 2 had the more difficult levels if you ask me.

I like the story mode, it's good to have.

I love the story mode. In fact that's the only reason I play this game.

It's freakin' awesome!! The story mode makes TimeSplitters! I love the multiplayer, don't get me wrong - it's up there with Halo for replayability in my opinion (although it's good in its own different way), but the single player is one of my favourite of all games. I played it Co-op with my mate which makes quite a difference as it is one of the few games which has been designed story-wise from the ground up as two-player, yet doesn't actually require any of that two-man bollocks to complete objectives like so many of the modern co-op games. But it’s funny, totally original, and all the levels mirror really great films and games, many of which I recognise. And the secondary character is always funny, original and actually takes part in the story as well! Yeah, don’t worry mate – I can tell you that me and my friends agree with you that the story mode is definitely the business!

When I finish the game, I'll see more referenced movies and start again!

OP, what would make you think that, story mode is awesome, it's the entire point of the game. Multiplayer is great with friends later but the storyline is brilliant, great cutscenes, a hilarious main character.
