I liked this when I first saw it, but...
several years later, it doesn't hold up. I find the third film to be better than this one, or at least less boring than this one.

shareAgreed. I've been a massive TMNT fan since the 80's, and watched this for the first time today. It's really terrible. The dialogue is horrible, the humor falls totally flat, the action scenes are okay but not great, and the story is almost non-existent. It's pretty much the worse TMNT project ever released in theaters.
