Snow Angels (the novel)

If you haven't read the book you should I just picked it up yesterday from borders and I haven't been able to stop reading. Its been along time since a book has done that for me...I wanted to read the book before seeing the movie. If the movie is as good as the book I'm looking forward to checking this out

I read the book in January, in preparation for the movie. I thought it was excellent, and read the last 175 pages in one sitting (which I never do!). I saw the movie on Friday morning at an advance press screening. I think it really does the novel justice. It stays pretty true to the story, and although there are some changes, I think those changes actually improve upon the book.

I've read a lot of books by O'Nan. He came to do a reading in one of my writing classes in college and he is really down to earth and an amazing writer. I would reccommend his work to anyone.

That book is probably my new favorite book, after I read it back in... August?, after seeing the movie in June.

I would say to read the book AFTER watching the movie, but that's just my opinion.

I loved the film so I'll definitely be buying the book sometime

I honestly believe I'm destined for great things, Mr. James.

Wasn't really "suburban." I love this book, though. I cried too.

So did I. Cried like a baby at the "no turning back" point in the book (the readers know what I'm talking about). Very well written and touching book. Can't wait to see the movie!

I knew what was going to happen and I still teared up. Once I picked it up, there was no way in hell I wa putting it back down. I think I finished it in two sittings, breaking once for lunch...

DEFINITELY worth a read!

Really loved this book. I don't think I put it down start to finish. After reading it I couldn't wait to see Sam Rockwell play Glen though I almost felt I already had -reading it while knowing he was Glen in the movie. People are coming down harder on Kate Beckinsale's performance, but she exceded my expectations as did Michael Angaro (sp?)
