Sounds very similar to Barry Gifford's novel. What next, fat women in bridal gowns, lesbians, gigalows and drug dealers-possibly both. Laura will not be pleased

This film has nothing to do with Barry Gifford's novel, I know, I'm the producer. The script is an origional work.

We just won the BAFTA Scotland Audience Award by the way so people have already seen the film and clearly did not think it was trash.

I saw it last week at Cineworld and thought it was really quite good. Some of the shots of Edinburgh were really breathtaking and the blind man was amusing. Good to see films being made in Scotland.

Nothing to do with Muir or Gifford to my knowledge.
