17 tens???? Come on...

Am I paranoid, or does anyone else think the people involved in these independent films sometimes stack the votes on IMDB? Last time I checked, there were 22 1's and 17 10's, with 24 votes distributed evenly between them. Come on... This film was shockingly bad: lousy script, phony junior-high calibre acting, crummy effects, not scary, not sexy, just bad, bad, bad. No way the distribution of votes could be this warped, without monkey games by the cast, crew and their respective friends and relations.

No your not paranoid! I see it all the time. I've seen people heap praise on absolute cringworthy and worthless excuses for films, sometimes even mentioning they were involved in some absolutely minute and pathetic way.

'Rise of the Undead' is a good example of this on IMDB. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0453540/
