did anyone elese recognize a slight country accent in Cody's (MF's) character??

Yes I did. It was really cool especialy in the scene where he says "You gotta start thinkin like an outlaw." That line will go down in movie history.

He has a southern accent because he is from Texas in real life.

Ya, his accent was ok but I'm from south florida and no one has southern accents and neither do I.

Well besides the fact that the movie takes place in florida, that hick is from Texas anyway. Hicks tend to have hick accents.

Ya'll have to realize that a true Florida Cracker has a southern accent. I do and so do all generations of crackers in my family. Most of the population in Florida are transplants and it is pretty rare to find an actual cracker that probably is about four or five generations.

I assume he could be from North Florida. South Florida is more Hispanic.
