shareJust saw the movie and thought the same thing, but they had to tie it all in a nice bow in the end. I thought it was weird that he kissed her and that she accepted it too.
Movie was fun but requires a heavy dose of suspension of disbelief.
Claire seems to be a very open minded individual. She seems like she believes in aliens, magic, things we cannot see. Not saying she's weird but perhaps she's more open minded than others. So while she may need some time to fully wrap her brain of the idea she may be open into believing everything he's saying could be true.
Plus the guy just saved her and he's good looking....a kiss wouldn't exactly hurt.
Denzel wouldn't have saved her if she was an ugly 300 pounds girl with bad teeth and acne.
