could've been a good movie

This might've been good if Artie wasn't on heroin at the time. It obviously hurt the movie big time. I read in Artie's book how him being on heroin screwed up things cause he wasn't there for casting or table reads, so any time to help make the movie better in pre-production was lost. And they had to reschedule things since he was in no shape to act in the first few days of filming. So if he wasn't doing double duty on Howard's show and the movie, it would've been a lot better. It's an ok movie for what it is. Howard gushed about how funny and great the movie is, but it's not great. With Artie being in basically every scene in the movie and he was on heroin and doing double duty on the show, it's amazing the story makes any sense. So it would be interesting to see if Artie gets to make another movie and stay clean on it, what it would be like.
