you need to see it again on tv, i don't know why i didn't like it the first time, maybe i was in good mood, could be the expectations from the first movie. but when i watched it the second time, i was in bad mood, and i couldn't stop laughing, it's hilarious, specially when he was waiting for the slow car, i almost lost my breath and dropped dead because of laughing.

Its defiantly get better with time (ITV seem to show it all the time on UK tv).

Me and my wife went to the cinema to see it, and though I found the laughs cheap and predicable in places, it was a great feel good movie, and any time it is on and no matter my mood, always cheers me up.

Richie Hodd is wrong. Next to a sad little cinematic turd called "Parting Shots," this Mr Bean outing is a classic to rank with "Citizen Kane" and "Gone With the Wind." Seriously. No question. The few who have seen "Parting Shots" were stunned into catatonic disbelief. I saw it at a press screening. Right from the start the auditorium was filled with a low moaning. The cleaners who were sneaking a look walked out in disgust. Then everyone else left. There are no words in the English language to do justice to how utterly abysmal it is. Trust me.

Yeah I agree. First time I saw it I thought it was just ok, a bit empty without many laughs. I now find myself continually putting it on when it's on ITV2 and it's became one of my favourite films. It isn't one of the funniest films I've seen by a long shot, but the whole mood, the setting, the likeable characters etc just appeal to me.

I bought this movie because I liked another Bean movie. The first time I didn't care for it so much...didn't watch it again for years. Then I watched it again last night and it was hilarious. Might've been my mood or something, but I did like it better the second time. I think it's a movie to watch and rewatch...catching new things with repeated viewings.

It's funny, the best part was the motorbike scene where he steals it but then the guy just can walk up to him lol. Yes it wasn't brilliant but it was a cheap laugh.
