I thought I had dreamed this

So I watched and LOVED this show as a kid, as did my whole family. But whenever I asked anybody else if they remembered a show about sea monsters and some teenager raising one in his bathtub and a marine biologist in a submarine they all had no clue what I was talking about. Even my siblings couldn't remember the show. So I really honestly thought I had imagined the whole thing until I found it on Netflix today while looking for a TV show to watch. Needless to say, here comes nostalgia, ten years in the making.
