WHATS UR FAVOURITE CANCELLED SHOWS?

mine would have to be
Surface[only i season which i really hated and this show had alot more potentual it could have went on for at least another season or two]
threshold[only i season which i really hated]
Invasion [only i season which i really hated]
Dark Angel[this show had alot more potentual it could have went on for at least another season or two]
the 4400[even though it had 4 seasons it still could have had one more season left in it]
my own worst enemy[this show would have been better as a big budget movie]

anyway i blame the fat cats [in the studios chasing after the almighty dollar] that cancelled these shows not the viewers if they had better promoted the shows then these glorious pieces of work wouldnt have been canned and would have had bigger fan bases

Personally i think its the best tv show thats ever been on tv

#2 Invasion
#3 Dark angel
#4 Roswell i actually liked the ending unlike most people
#5 Tru Calling,the last few episodes was really amazing the waythey ended it i wanted to throw my tv out the window

Surafce definetly gets a honarable mention!

I'll limit my list to shows that lasted three seasons or fewer.

Firefly- 10/10
Veronica Mars- 8/10
Invasion- 8/10
Jericho- 8/10
Miracles- 7.5/10
Moonlight- 7.5/10
Threshold- 7/10
Tru Calling- 7/10
Roswell- 7/10 (probably my ultimate guilty pleasure)

Without a doubt, my favorite cancelled show would be Veronica Mars. The writing was original and I just loved the show. I am still upset about it! Others would be:

Surface
Crossing Jordan
Alias
Without a Trace (I think they canceled it this season?)

and I'll probably take flak for this, but my hubby and I did watch the new Knight Rider. Kind of a guilty pleasure! :) It was fun to watch with the kids. They would get excited everytime it came on!

Chandler: He had sex with Mr. Garibaldi!
Monica: Who's Mr. Garibaldi?

I forgot Moonlight! You're right, I liked that show too. It seemed like it was just getting revved up and then they cancelled it. I like him more each show too-he didn't seem overly attractive at the beginning but the more I watched the show, the better he looked! I'm probably going to watch his new show this fall.

I meant the Dresden Files. TripMom2000, there was an earnest in his face that made him more attractive. But Paul Blackthorne is simply yummy.

I can't even begin to see why that show was canceled. I hate money grubbers. Oh and Surface of course. Why else would I be on this board?

Tru Calling-amazing show it was getting good
Veronica Mars-was obsessed with this show
Joan of Arcadia-great show had a lot of potential
Angel-wtf they should have continued it
The Game-one of the funniest shows ever
Primeval-now that was a great show better than surface, invasion etc
Roswell-loved this show when i was younger
Dark Angel-epic show :)
there are more shows but these are the main ones WOOOOT :)

My best guess about Firefly is because of low ratings.

They butchered the show when it was aired, you know. Episodes out of order (Train Job was the first aired EP, so the character introductions were completely missing), terrible advertising for the show, terrible time slot placement, CHANGING time slot, etc.

In my opinion ABC shouldn't even be allowed to air shows like Firefly anymore, they seem like they intentionally wrecked it. And just as a note, Firefly is my favorite show, even though there's only so few episodes.

I just watched Surface (still watching the last few episodes actually), and it was pretty good, hence I'm still watching it. :)

Nikita (ok, at this point, this is still on, but i am beating them to it this time!)

Kevin Reilly used to be a high-honcho at NBC and he terminated "Surface" inspite of 9 mill viewers for top episodes.

Kevin Reilly then moved to FOX and terminated "The Sarah Connor Chronicles." This spring (2012) he terminated "Terra Nova." Terra Nova had some problems (weak writing) but it deserved to be improved, not terminated.

And I still mourn "The Sarah Connor Chronicles." I don't like graphic violence and never wanted to see the Terminator movies, but "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" were a GREAT show and it deserved to live.

Of course, I still mourn "Surface." There is nothing on TV like it -- in particular, I miss Nim the digital critter. I think the Surface plot ought to have been developed slower, and it might have, if it weren't for the constant threat of termination.

Recently I watched "The Event," free online here at IMDB & on Hulu. The Pate brothers who did "Surface" had a hand in "The Event" -- and I liked The Event quite a bit, while wishing the plot development were just a little slower (ie catastrophic ending.)

Like Surface, The Event first season was interrupted by the bright minds (roll eyes) at NBC, same idiots who then moved the shows to a different weekday. How are shows to survive if the IDIOT highly -paid network honchos mess up the airing days, interrupt first seasons, and never give good shows time to develop fans?!
